Though no animals will “mate on cue” during this adults-only affair, you will learn the many remarkable facets to the birds and the bees of the animal kingdom, including animal reproduction, choosing mates, raising families, population maintenance and how the San Francisco Zoo assists in the reproductive process through its successful breeding programs. Led by former Zoo penguin keeper and engaging animal-care professional, Jane Tollini, this 90-minute event, formerly known as the Sex Tour, will entertain and educate you through a multimedia presentation and up-close encounters with various creatures inside the Great Hall.
